We whole heartedly agree, of more than 300 senior executives in business and technology we interviewed in NA in q3'05 more than 68% said SOA is a technology in need of a business problem to solve. Ironically what does get there attention is the value benefits creating a service oriented ecosystem can bring in terms of profit, growth and improved competitive advantage. Maybe we should re-associate the SOA acronym with something business understands. In our words that would be SOA=synergize, optimize and accelerate improved financial performance and increased corporate value
