Ikea plans trade exchange to make all our Sundays better

Ikea is planning to build a private trading exchange, allowing it to expand its global supply chain and clinch the best deals from its suppliers.

The Swedish retailer has enlisted B2B vendor Verticalnet to build the exchange which will include sourcing, collaborative planning and multi-tier order management.
