HP and Deloitte Consulting are to offer manufacturers a raft of joint services and products to help speed up product development.
Manufacturers will be able to use HP's Netaction software suite to build tools to create marketplaces between design teams and the supply chain.
Airton Gimenes, vice president of sales at HP's business customer organisation, claimed the global alliance could cut organisations product development cycle by up to 50 per cent.
