Oracle has added to its hosted software applications with the acquisition of 3Cube, a maker of collaborative software for online meetings.
Oracle will integrate 3Cube's Web Meeting Services technology into iMeeting, a new online application which allows remote users to host meetings over the internet.
Terms of the deals have not been revealed, but the purchase is a 'non-material' acquisition and the cost will be incorporated into Oracle's research and development budget.
California-based 3Cube is a private company and was founded in 1999.
