QuickStart Technologies has installed a corporate intranet for US employment company, Remedy Intelligent Staffing.
Employees are expected to share information over the intranet, which allows 25 departments to circulate content without needing individuals with Web-based skills.
Remedy said QuickStart was tapped for its programming and systems integration expertise.
The intranet uses Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 as the data repository, Microsoft Site Server 3.0-Commerce Edition as the Web server and Seagate Software's Seagate Info 7.0 for report generation. The operating system is Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, while the hardware platform comprises Compaq ProLiant 7000 servers.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
