Intranet software developer, Planet-Intra, has released a Linux version of its intranet building software.
The company claims the product is designed for small businesses and is non-programmable, secure and customisable.
Planet-Intra co-founder, Alan McMillan, said the decision to port the product for the Linux platform is part of the company's commitment to new technology. Adapting it for Linux also makes the product cheaper in terms of installation and running costs, he added.
The software - which is also available for the NT platform - is priced at $599 for 25 users.
