In brief: PC cash machines on trial

The Bank of America has launched a Web interface for loading credit onto smartcards.

It announced plans yesterday to expand its HomeBanking service onto PC-based ATMs (automated teller machine).

The Visa Cash pilot scheme will be rolled out next month to 2,000 Visa and Bank of America employees in the US, who will trial the cards in their office canteens.
