Don't kid yourself. Windows is tarketed not because it's more ubiquitous, but because it's the low hanging fruit.
Criminals are always looking for the easy mark, they couldn't care less how many potential victims there are. There would be far greater bragging rights to be the first to ever hack into a Mac. Most of the supposed security problems on either platform are extremely hypothetical.
