So no end in sight for the balls up called Windows security.

Until MS actually run their own systems with security turned on, they aren't going to find out about all the problems it causes for everyone else. I've lost track of the number of programs (including from Microsoft !) that simply do not work properly if you don't have admin rights.

Microsoft don't care because they don't make their users run with security turned on, so they never see the problem.
