Actually and for clarification, I'm informed that GetSafe was planned to be launched "earlier" this year but the funding and organisational exercise started in October of last year. I'm not sure that this gets government off the hook as the article suggests. "Fiddling while Rome burns" is the political analogy which springs to mind and without the help of industry, nothing at all would have happened I suspect!
