Good avice indeed, and all this SHOULD be part of the company Business Continuity Plan.

Business Continuity Plan ? My experience suggests that if you were to ask most companies about their BCP you would get some very blank looks - and few answers. So in most cases, if something like the scenarios given were to happen, it would be like watching a shed full of headless chickens !
