Hah!
Good advice and wise words about What To Do In An IT Crisis' are all very well if anyone is listening.
Sad facts:
- most companies in UK are 'small' or medium';
- most such companies do not have a proper IT budget or adequate, competent IT staff, let alone a plan for when it all goes wrong;
- auditors are SUPPOSED to 'qualify' accounts when they see that the systems supporting the accounting functions of a company are flawed - when did you last hear of this happening? Never!
I used to provide IT support to small and medium companies. Too many of them 'could not afford it'. Now I'm a heating engineer.
Go figure!
