Surely if you take this view their will never be a system that anyone will ever be able to trust. This is, like most things in life, a question of RISK. How likely is Niel's scenario likely to be the case ? My assessment is LOW risk for most sites. So I'll continue to use the Internet but perhaps not use some dodgy looking site offering me something for nothing.
