ebookers checks in for fraud controls

Will cyber criminals get a one way ticket to one of Her Majesty's hotels?

UK online travel agent ebookers has signed up to use ClearCommerce's fraud protection software to stave off cybercrime.

ClearCommerce's Merchant Engine is designed to work across both of ebookers' sales channels - online and via a call centre - and will automatically check all transactions for fraud.

The software will be rolled out across ebookers' 11 different European operations over the summer.
