Security vendor McAfee has launched a security monitoring portal which helps track down hackers.
The subscription-based site, called HackerWatch.org, is designed for corporations worried about their networks and is an attempt to create an online security community to trace malicious hackers and code breakers.
It uses a combination of intrusion detection tools, firewalls and other monitoring technologies.
Anyone subscribing to the service will receive information about any potential intruder.
Subscribers can voluntarily report such information either to the nearest law enforcement agency or the malicious user's ISP.
