More worrying portent than harmful malware...

The first ever virus to feed off the popular Shockwave graphics system has been created.
Reported by both Sophos and Kaspersky Labs, the new virus is not thought to be dangerous, and has not yet been seen in the wild.
However, it sets an important precedent for virus writers looking to exploit the Shockwave platform.
The use of Shockwave animation is endemic throughout the net, and a virus to exploit it could affect millions of web users.
