Security company Network Associates has appointed a European president.
NAI has announced that Michele Fitzpatrick will join the company as president of the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region.
In her new role, Fitzpatrick will lead the team responsible for sales and business operations throughout the region.
She comes to NAI from Oracle, where she headed up EMEA channel operations. Before that she also worked at Lotus/IBM and Santa Cruz operation.
Fitzpatrick will have a challenging job from day one, as NAI is already $30m down after a shareholder payout, having admitted accounting irregularities last March.
