
Companies offered protection against 'here today, gone tomorrow' IT firms...

Software assurance specialist the NCC group has launched protection against rogue IT companies by safeguarding the software source code.
The Escrow Secure service will protect software contracts from the demise of software providers, break down of business relationships or the loss of intellectual property rights.
The software source code will be deposited under Escrow Secure and must be fully verified. The verification process must then take place once a year or more often if there has been a major change to the product.
