Authorities in the Philippines are expected to drop the case against the suspected 'Love Bug' virus writer because of lack of evidence, according to US newswires.
According to Reuters, the prosecutor had claimed the Philippines National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) failed to produce enough evidence against 28 year-old Reonel Ramones to proceed under the country's Access Device Act.
The act deals with illegal use of passwords for credit cards and bank accounts.
