Motorola has launched its first secure virtual credit card, in partnership with Trintech.
The software, launched this week at the GSM World Congress in Cannes, will enable people to make purchases from their mobile phones over a wireless connection.
Motorola explained that users will be able to fill in order forms online using their phone keypad or voice-recognition technology. Receipts in the form of text messages are expected to follow shortly.
