Microsoft's free email service, Hotmail, has a bug that exposes user passwords to hackers, according to Canadian networking company, Speciality Installation.
The company's non-profit bug investigation arm discovered late last night that JavaScript hackers could send a 'trojan horse' virus email which triggers Hotmail to email back passwords.
Hotmail is reportedly working to fix the bug, which could potentially discourage many of its 22 million registered users.
