Visual Basic developers get 'Code Librarian' aide
By Joey Gardiner
Published: Tuesday 21 March 2000
Microsoft has announced a free resource for developers to share code snippets when developing in Visual Basic.
The resource is to be called the Code Librarian Update and will aid developers working on Microsoft Office applications. Microsoft has so far signed up its Visio division to contribute to the scheme, and it has posted its first contributions already.
The scheme will allow developers to post sections of code on the Code Librarian, which can then be cut and pasted into Office and Visual Basic applications.
