It seems that Apple's model is once it dominates the market in one area - in this case iTunes - it uses this to leverage the usage of another - Safari.
This is exactly the behaviour that got Microsoft in a lot of hot water in the USA and Europe with its attempt to force us to use Internet Explorer when we installed Windows.
When are the US and European authorities going to wake up to this?
