Interesting comparison:

Austrumi Linux is only 50 MBytes. Its LiveCD boots my PC, loads itself wholly into RAM, runs like a rocket and provides a whole raft of useful applications;

Vista (which doesn't even run on my 2 year old PC) requires 1GByte just to patch it.
