When new PC's are required then we shall purchase PC's with Vista.

If the PC doesn't need replacing, why upgrade the OS, this is just a waste of money.

Most PC's we have are running Win 2000 and are perfectly good for the job they do. Since XP was launched we have purchased PC's with XP. Having more than one OS does not cause us any problems at all.

We even have a few Win 98 PC's that are more than adequate for what they do.

Simple idea for all companies to save money - don't bother updating the OS just for the sake of it, only update when you change the PC.
