OSX is the now the undisputed King of all popular OSes, but the mere fact it requires many users of inferior OSes to become more modern in their thinking... it doesn't bode well for Apple. OSX is too modern, to easy to use to be accepted by the status quo.

100's of thousands have a VESTED interest in keeping people inefficient. Thus, the attractions to old world, IBM (microsoft stolen) ideas.

Sure, if everyone moved over to OSX overnight, viruses would become nonexistent, software glitches would disappear and people would actually be HAPPY to use a Computer.

But until the current generation dies off, expect to see people still wasting 1000's of human lifetimes with Windows, and PC's in general. It's sad, because Apple has done it correctly... it's the PC people will ALL use 20 years from now. But it causes too much consternation at this time, since it's too perfect, works too well for the entrenched "belief" of the status quo.
