This is a much bigger problem for the Windows faithful, as it means they will be stuff with the creaky BIOS architecture for the next 5-10 years, until people start migrating to 64 bit in significant numbers.

I expect the best solution for running Windows on the "MacIntels" will be something like a souped-up WINE emulator, which should have native speed on X86 and which will probably be more solid than any drek eminating out of Redmond, anyway.
