Of course you can still buy the real thing. 99.99999% of users will opt for the full version of XP that includes Windows Media Player et al. The Reduced Media edition is an optional SKU that no-one will want (except the overpaid, meddling Euro commissioners). I suppose some very low cost PC OEMs might use it and take a payment from Real, but it will be their customers who lose out.

Wouldn't the money spent on all nosense this been better spent on relief for the people living around the Indian Ocean?
