The SCO spokesman "noted, however, that until SCO reviews what the open-source group divulges, it's difficult to predict what role the information might have in its lawsuit against IBM"

If that's not a fishing expedition, tell me what is?

And if it is a fishing expedition, then the first para of the article, saying "information that could help the SCO Group in its legal battle against Linux" is quite misleading, because it implies that SCO actually has a case of any kind.
