If Linux is an open source system and there are limited virus attacks that it receives because of its architecture, then microsoft should not fear because there guys have been battling these hackers and viruses for a long time. Isn't it that they are experience in to such situation? If you ask me, this is more like hoaxes that microsoft had mastermind to gain more popularity and to scare Linux.
