The Welsh Development Agency (WDA) has launched an online news service to attract foreign car manufacturers to set up factories in Wales.

WalesWatch shares expertise among car manufacturers in Wales, with an emphasis on promoting new manufacturing technologies.

The first issue includes details of Ford Motor's Zetec engines, made in Wales; and Calsonic's super wind tunnel, which simulates extreme weather conditions.

Waleswatch.com replaces the printed newsletter, AutoSource, which was published twice yearly.

The Welsh Development Agency (WDA) has attracted over $20bn of international investment to the region since 1983.
