US steelmaker Ispat has revealed details of an Internet-based procurement site developed with business-to-business ecommerce specialist, Commerce One.
The venture - to be called Metique - will be based in London and will host supply services for steel, aluminium, zinc and copper.
Ispat expects the site to shave five to seven percent from procurement costs.
