Gateway offers dairy farmers cut-price PCs

UK dairy farmers are being tempted with cut-price PCs if they become customers of National Milk Records (NMR), a recording service that holds data on 60 per cent of the country's dairy herds.
For £35 per month paid for three years, members will receive a Gateway Performance 450 PC preloaded with NMR's dairy management software and free Internet access on gateway.net. The usual cost of the software is £400, plus £18 per month for three years, meaning the PC itself costs £212.
