Borland, the software development arm of Inprise, has launched the latest version of its development tool for building Java based applications - and it supports Linux.
JBuilder 3 will be available on Microsoft Windows, Solaris and Linux before the end of the year.
The tool also offers support for the Java2 platform, which provides developers with over 300 JavaBean components with source code and JDK/Switching for compiling and debugging Java applications.
Integrated Corba support for building Corba-based clients, servers and servlets is also included.
