An online directory is being compiled for the world's building and construction industry. Products and services from over 8,000 companies will be listed on Leonardo, which is being developed by Birmingham-based publishing firm, McDermott.

Access to the service will be free, and listed companies will be charged approximately £90 per month to incorporate a multi-page site of their own.

Interested parties can call 0800 590 105 for a free demo CD Rom.

Leonardo is due to launch on 20 October.
