JCB rolls out system in UK and France

Construction equipment manufacturer JCB is to roll out a £1.5m bespoke system to run its finance, manufacturing, distribution and warehousing operations.

Systems integrator Minerva will oversee all aspects of the implementation, which will cover JCB's Rocester, UK and Paris, France, sites.

The system comprises fully integrated MFG/PRO software, Robocom RIMS, and Teklogix RF equipment running on a Digital Alpha Unix platform running a Progress RDBMS.
