JD Edwards announces 800 redundancies

JD Edwards is to lay off 800 staff worldwide as part of a major restructuring plan.

According to a spokesman for JD Edwards, the company invested heavily last year but this year is being forced to retrench.

Other savings include closing down training centers, reducing office space and related overheads.
