I remember before Labour came to power Tony Blair's web site was the only government site running on Windows. It was also the least reliable at the time.

Suddenly when Labour came in there was a huge switch away from Linux servers and reports of a strong anti-Linux atmosphere in government. There were also pictures of Tony grinning alongside Bill Gates.

Now we hear in the press that Tony doesn't use or understand technology. I realise that he may not be the one directly in charge of IT buying decisions, but do associate his government with the move away from open source in UK government.
