This is all you can come up with? Mebbe I should try selling you something - and I'm not even a salesman.
These tricks are as old as sales. Some of their cleverer ones need a bit of investigation.
Try for example the 'we can meet your price today but will introduce clever wording to ensure that it goes up under change control' approach. Or the "software is discounted by 60% but professional services are 1400 a day for a 22 year old with 1 years experience" approach. Or maybe the "Maybe we can try different payment terms if you havent got the cash" approach.
Come on Silicon - think about it!
