Are you a mobile lover or an internet addict? Do you only unplug your iPod earbuds to take a shower? Are you unable to let an unread email lie?
The latest silicon.com reader poll pitted four technologies against each other to find out which is the most addictive to the high-tech fraternity.
Asked which they could "least live without" for a day - a mobile phone, internet access, email and an MP3 player - readers confessed they find internet access the most essential.

Almost half (45 per cent) of the more than 250 poll respondents said they couldn't live without web access for a day.
The second most addictive tech was a tie between mobile phones and MP3 players - which were each selected by just over a fifth (21 per cent) of respondents.
Email came last in the poll, with just 13 per cent of respondents saying they couldn't easily forego it for a day.
While techies are least attached to email, those who do have access simply can't get enough. A silicon.com poll earlier this year found more than half of IT workers will check their email before 9am.
