US electronics company Solectron has announced its acquisition of call centre support company Stream International.
Solectron said the move will take it into the top ten of CRM services providers.
Stream - a privately held company which provides call centre support to large computer companies - suffered financial troubles after it reported revenues of only $323m for the last financial year.
But Solectron has endured its fair share of financial woes over the last quarter, when restructuring charges and weakening demand for its electronics products dragged fourth quarter sales down 23 per cent on the same quarter last year to $3.6bn.
