Hutchison 3G has chosen ADC billing technology to use in all the areas where it will run next generation phone networks.

ADC is providing the telco with its single.eView product. Hutchison will use the software first in Italy then roll it out in the UK and other territories later.

Michael Henderson, senior vice president of global sales at ADC, said in a statement: "In the 3G world it's not just about rating calls based on minutes or bytes and producing a bill.

"Customers will adopt 3G services to improve their lifestyle, and they will want to manage it in a single account."
