KPN/Perot venture targets European telecoms industry

KPN and Perot Systems are to jointly develop applications for the telecoms industry.

Call centres and mobile internet services will be the main focus of the newly formed venture, with the bulk of the applications being offered to large European companies and KPN's European subsidiaries.

The as yet unnamed venture is expected to generate $50m in sales over the first year rising to $300m over the next five years.
