Ministry of Sound, the nightclub and dance lifestyle company, has re-launched its Web site (www.ministryofsound.co.uk).

The site is the result of co-operation between IT services company Aris and Web designer Deepend.

Besides new content, featuring radio and club listings, the site features a data gathering function, embedded in registration and competition entry functions, which will form the basis of the promotional operations of the company.

Speaking to silicon.com James Bacchus, chief technology officer for Ministry of Sound, said: "Ministry of Sound needed a system for promoting itself through email and profiling our users therefore we needed a site with SQL server database."

The site also offers users the opportunity to buy music, clothing and Ministry of Sound merchandising online.
