The European unified messaging market is set to explode, according to a recent report.
The report from analysts Frost & Sullivan predicts that users will be attracted by the productivity and efficiency gains of accessing messages from a single source. According to Frost & Sullivan the market is set to achieve "staggering growth".
Ian Rowlands, research analyst at the company, said unified messaging would become a standard service of mobile networks by the end of 2002.
With total sales of $135m in 1999, Frost & Sullivan predicts the global market will be worth $18bn by 2006.
