Lawson Software today launched the first module of its CRM software for sales force automation.
Lawson Insight II is an open architecture product, designed to connect multiple enterprises using Self-Evident Applications (SEA) technology. It features the Customer Timeline which displays all customer interactions - including revenue, expense and profits - in graphics format.
Lawson's field development manager for advanced technologies, Terry Weir, said Lawson had developed the module from the ground up and promised that it was fully integrated with all other Lawson software.
The product will be on sale in early March.
