Integrated mail system for SMEs

Vivao Messaging has launched its message management service offering SMEs an integrated email, fax and voicemail system. The company will provide its tools through ISPs and portal channels instead of selling directly to the customer.

Allen Scott, business development director at Vivao, called the service "supercharged email."

Scott explained: "People have been trying to do this for fifteen years. We let people listen to email from any touch tone phone and reply to it with a voice attachment, redirect faxes as well as store all voice and data messages in an email format."

Users are allocated with one number that provides access to the free online service.
Scott said the company had plans to expand the service into the large business arena once the company had further developed the product's security features.

"It's a cultural not a technological problem. Getting companies to put their trust in this requires a cultural shift - they are not used to having their mail on the Internet."
Vivao has already signed up Euphony.net and Jungle.com to offer the service.
