1&1 opts for Thor unified messaging

German ISP (Internet service provider), 1&1 has bought a unified messaging system from Speech Design, a European subsidiary of Bogen Communications.

Speech Design says its Thor software and server package will help 1&1 customers impose order on disparate systems of email, voicemail and faxes.

Thor lets users retrieve and manage all three forms of communication either from a desktop or mobile computer.
