Software company ABC Technologies has opened an office in Munich to help strengthen its relationship with ERP (enterprise resource planning) vendor SAP in German speaking countries.

The activity-based costing/management software company recently received a large equity investment from SAP as part of a joint product venture. The companies are building a product to integrate the SAP R/3 system and ABC Technologies' Oros 99 system.

Patrick Ternier, business manager at ABC Technologies, claimed the move would help the company "create a formidable presence in the German speaking markets of Europe".
