Five IT vendors have teamed up to create a hybrid pharmaceutical manufacturing software product.
Manufacturing companies in this field are experiencing rising costs associated with regulatory compliance and demands from customers to deliver products faster. To ease this, Base Ten, Beckman, Compaq, Novasoft and SSA have developed a product comprising elements from each companies core expertise.
Compaq's BusinessBus technology is the backbone for each of these elements. The company claims BusinessBus will eliminate the coding problems commonly experienced when manufacturers try combine software modules on one system.
